« on: April 09, 2012, 11:53:58 pm »
I was just wondering if alot of you guys own a gun and do you prefer rifle or pistol. I have one of each, a Springfield Armory 1911 45acp and a winchester 30-30. I like each for its own reason.

Coffee Shop / Distance between clutch and rear pully
« on: March 13, 2011, 09:43:36 pm »
Hello all I'm asking this question because with what i'm building now I have quite a bit of room between the rear pully of my clutch and the actual rear pully. Is it absolutly necessary to be as close as a racer build?

thanks

Hello all I am building a new project and I using the rear rotors off an 07 tauras and the rear calipers off an 02 tauras. My question is, is there an atv or motor cycle master cylinder that will work these calipers or am I stuck using an automotive master cylinder?

Thanks

Kohler Engines / Kohler CV20S wiring
« on: September 20, 2010, 09:47:40 pm »
Hello all I have the above mentioned engine and am wanting to know how to wire it. It has a 4 wire plug with a white, red, green and blue wires. the only thing I know is the white wire is the kill wire. And the red wire in the plug is running to the selinoid on the carb. I would like to wire this up to a key switch. Would any body have a diagram for doing this. I have looked on line and found a wiring diagram but it is all greek to me. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Lloyd

Briggs Flathead / Opposed briggs valve seat trouble
« on: June 27, 2009, 10:02:00 pm »
Hello all, my brother has a 17.5 opposed briggs and the valve seat keeps coming out. when its put back in it runs great, we've pinged around it and even tried jb weld to no availeand a repair shop said they could put a new one in but would not guarantee it not comming out again. Is there anything we can do to resolve this problem? We would hate to get rid of a good running engine just for this reason. Thanks

Chassis / Battery
« on: March 05, 2008, 12:04:33 am »
This may be a dumb question, on the average how many starts can one expect on a fully charged battery? I'm sure the number of cranking amps and other variables come into play, but on the average. Could you get through a race day without charging?

Hello all, started putting my C/P back together and was wondering how tight to make the chain. Does it have to be as tight as possible or have some slack in it? Thanks Lloyd
