i would get a new belt, but first i would buy brakes and figure out what yoiu are going to do to it saftey wise. belts are cheap, and buying a idler might cost more than a new belt, and a old belt can break, and is already worn

if the rear bumper is too heavy it could cause unwanted front end lift out of the corners, causing unsatisfactory handling compared to a bumper that only weighs a few pounds max
i thought that last night and if it doesent work the way i want to i can always cut the center out and replace with one bar. thanks for that though ill make sure to say when im finished!

acualy that is a picture when i first got it, it still has the black eye, lol.

today after i cleaned the garage in powerwashed and degreased the frame so i could work with a clean frame, and i removed the 12hp techumshin, and i did about 10 spot welds to the front axle and grinded them down. and i welded the c on for the spindle. i want someone to stickweld 9it because my welder isnt really made to weld anything over 3/16.(or if i crank the heat up will it be okay?).

building with a 700 and live axle is easier than using a transaxle and jack shaft
really, then i can do it. and ya a 1 1/4,sorry wasent thinkin. i want to get everything i need at once, so im searchin around on what all i need to order, i am building for sportsman so i dont want to cheap out on the brakes and axle.

how hard is it to install a 1 1/2 axle with the 700? i dont want to have to shift allot or rebuild the transaxle allot. im going with sportsman, i have to get a flathead though.

here is it when i was painting it, more pics soon
