Briggs OHV & Vanguard / make your own adjustable needle kit help
« Last post by mark t on Today at 02:20:09 pm »
I have tried to order an EC adjustable needle kit  (100-506K ) for the Briggs LMT carb.  It seems that these kits are now out of production.
Can anyone please help with detail on how to make one, or are these now made by another manufacture?

37.3 second of search time on Amazon:

https://www.amazon.com/KIPA-Carburetor-Briggs-Stratton-10-32XL/dp/B0787WF2FC/ref=sr_1_18?dchild=1&keywords=walbro+56+carburator&qid=1634080806&sr=8-18

It isn't EXACTLY a Walbro 56...

Head over to EC Carbs buy:

Velocity stack: https://www.eccarburetors.com/EC-WalbroBriggs-LMT-Carburetor-Velocity-Stack_p_418.html

Adjustable needle: https://www.eccarburetors.com/EC-Adjustable-Needle-for-Briggs-LMT-Walbro-Carburetors_p_1628.html

You might need a few other parts from EC (or your local Lawn Mower shop if you know how to direct them to look things up)

Now all you have to do is get out the dremel tools and get to work, I'm sure there are lots of threads here to let you know where to cut, where to vent. ETC.

After a full season on these roller rockers they held up fantastically and showed no signs of wear and caused absolutely no problems . These things are a 10/10 and just flat out work Awsomely.

I suppose I wasn't that clear.

I realize that is the carb to use.

Finding one or an aftermarket clone of it is what I am having a problem with.

Driveline / Re: Advice for marrying peerless 801 to horizontal shaft engine?

Zimirken,

After doing some further research, I learned that the Deere Aercore 800 aerator uses a 25HP Kohler Command horizontal-shaft engine and a Peerless 820 transaxle, with a twisted-belt drive:

You might want to stop by your local Deere dealer and check out the parts for your setup.  Might save you some time and unnecessary custom engineering.
