Mike formentini and I have raced at this track for 5 years now and have put this thing together, and it has always been two things fun and cold. But let me tell you this no lie. I thought I was fast and still feel thta I am but last year George had to be hittin close to 70MPH and if he had a cape on he would have took off. Exellent display of lawnmower speed. I have done my homework tuned the engine changed a few things on it added some EC in the formula and hope to get the handling right this year. George will testify I was ILL handling last year, but, I will be going to a local KART track before the race this year to test and tune for two people I know will be fast this year MIke Formentini and George. I will have fun racing Jeanie(HOPE I SPEKKED RIGHT) but only in BP class this year. But this race IS SO MUCH FUN< ONE YOU WILL NOT WANT TO MISS!

We put a mower on the track today and it was a blast, won't lie there were a few bumps to work out but now we know. There were two groves working good for me so looks like it is going to be some great racing.

Well we got our idea from the ILL. track and Avon Park. We wanted something with some speed but not to much. I think the track will be fast but if it does get too fast we can slow it down. But yeah it is 575' total. I will go out there tomarrow and measure the back strait and post that with some new pics. I went over there this evening and groomed the track with fence and tires and it realy looked great. It does have some banking to help with the high speeds. We hope to please everyone and will have our National Points race bid in there next year. Thanks for all the info hear you allhelped build it just didn't know it.

The DLMRA will be hosting the 2008 Cherry Blossom Festival. We secured the deal as of today. The event will be held in downtown Macon on March 29, 2008 race beging about 4pm. (Subject to be earlier will post if so) I would like to know who would like to attend this event. Please send me a pm with name and mower type. There are several sponsors that would like to pick up drivers and will be giving them your names and info and the different sponsors will be doing different things for there drivers. This event will also be entered into the New Event Contest competeing against all other new events in the state of georgia entered into the contest. All drivers will recieve some tow money as well as trophy's for 1-3. There are some details about this because this is going to be a exibition race. The other thing i want you to think about is the fact that we will be completeing this event through downtown,(asfault) so experience is of the essence. Please let me know because I must have a complete list of drivers to be processed before. We were alotted a certain amount of tow money so the earlier the better. I will respond to each one of you.

Thanks
