Flywheel weights are added to flywheels to be able to lug the engines without stalling. it is common practice for woods riding for tractorability not reving.

LIQUID DISH SOAP WORKS WELL ALSO. THE STEEL CARBIDES I THINK YOU HAVE MORE CONTROL. TRY SOME OF THE BIG TOOLING HOUSES LIKE MSG OR McMASTERS-CARR, YOU WILL GET A BETTER PRICE.

HEY FERRIS I DON'T THINK DUAL SPRINGS ARE GOING TO HELP A TOTAL STOCK MOTOR UNLESS LIFT OR DURATION HAS BEEN CHANGED. BUT STOCK IS STOCK AND I FEEL ANY MODS ON A STOCK ENGINE SHOULD ONLY BE ALOUD SHOULD BE ONLY FOR RELIABILITY ONLY. I FEEL CHANGEING THE EXHAUST AND AIR CLEANER SHOULD BE OK, AFTER ALL THESE ARE RACERS.

I have seen a machined flywheel [it weighed less than 7 lb] explold. It was very ugly. He had pieces of flywheel inbed into his leg and busted bones, o ya he had a sheild on it. he is doing ok now thank GOD. The club does't allow cut wheels anymore.

IF YOU ARE HAVING TROUBLE WITH HOLES IN THE TUBES , WRAP DUCK TAPE AROUND THE CENTER WHERE THE WELD IS. OLD MOTOCROSS TRICK TO COVER THE SPOKE NIPPLES, THEN USE BABY POWDER INSIDE THE TIRE BEFORE YOU PUT THE TUBE IN. THIS LUBES THE TUBES SO THEY WILL MOVE AROUND WITHOUT RUBBING TO BAD.
