Other Engines / flathead coil
« on: July 22, 2014, 08:54:23 pm »
I am attempting to put a ARC wheel on a kawi 460 flathead and realize about the coil. I got the wheel used and only the wheel. does anyone see a problem on redrilling a briggs coil to fit, or am I asking for trouble. I have a mill so straight is not a problem. Any thoughts?  [go ahead and say it ED]

Briggs OHV & Vanguard / V-TWIN FLYWHEEL
« on: July 02, 2014, 01:42:47 pm »
I was looking at the ARC site and saw the Intek V-Twin flywheel is #6611. My question is , can you change the hub and ring gear and use a single #6611 billet wheel?

Coffee Shop / New phone ?
« on: March 18, 2014, 09:51:24 pm »
I need input. I am looking to join the 21st century with a better phone. I am looking at the LG optimus g pro. My carrier is AT&t, people are telling me all sorts of things. They say the apple is better than the android. But others are saying they liked the android. Opinions please, I am trying not to make the 18 month mistake. Just to make you all laugh my current phone is a tiny slide phone, the pics are the size of a large matchbook. Tell me what you think I can take it!! LOL

Coffee Shop / IGNITION TIMING
« on: March 11, 2014, 06:42:02 pm »
HAS ANYONE TRIED TO MAKE TIMING ADJUSTABLE. WHAT I AM TALKING ABOUT IS MAKING THE COIL ADJUSTABLE WITH A CABLE. THESE ENGINES  LIKE TIMING BUT DON'T START WELL ADVANCED. MY THOUGHT IS TO MAKE THE COIL MOVABLE, SAY WITH A SOLID THROTTLE CABLE. MOVE THE COIL TO A PREDETERMINED START POSITION THEN PUSH THE LEVER TO MOVE THE COIL TO A PREDETERMINED RACE POSITION. WE ARE ALLOWED TO RUN MODIFIED IGNITION SYSTEMS. THIS COULD PREVENT STARTER BREAKAGE AND MAYBE MAKE ADJUSTMENTS EASIER.

Who's going and where do I find more info? I figure I would bring it up early [it's Dec 21]. My racer is made for Dirt Devil rules and doesn't really meet US rules to well. [yes safety rules are the same]. Thanks!
