What would it take to make them legal ?? I'm sure if it's not a complete rebuild it would be well worth it, sound like it's gonna be a great time.

The stick on weights work well, make sure you clean the rim real well.

Makes sense to me.. not to mention the wear on bearings does to the shake..

The wear on bearings is the biggest thing that I found as a difference. I used to have to replace the bearing a couple time a year, this year there still in great shape after the season. I'm gonna replace and use them as a spare set but better than throwing them away.

That's the key thing I found is use quality chain and keep it clean and well lubed. If you think about it there are kart running way more power than we are and not having any problems with the chain.

The set-up your planning is exactly what I have on my mower, I'm running a belt set-up on the motor to RAGB 1:1. Doing all the gearing in the rear.

I've been running this same set up with a Premier clutch 3/4 shaft and 35 chain.
I've never had a chain issue using 35 chain, I don't know why you would want to run any heavier than you need it's just added friction.

Racing Mower Builds / Re: CP\Mod X Build For 2010

Hey Seth,

Your mower looks great, The one thing to think about though is the location of your caliper. I would place it in the front of the tire. Your brake lines wouldn't have to be as long ( stiffer pedal ) and the line wouldn't be in the rear of the mower in case of an impact.
Great lookin build !!!!

If your connections are good you should check the plunger in the solenoid, I had one a few years ago that striped out and ruined a ring gear. It worked fine sometimes and stuck sometimes.

MCP has a very good setup that are adjustable .
No stops needed on the spindels .
They take a little work to set them up and shim everything for proper clearance , but not bad .

A rollerskate wheel with a groove cut in it will work great . I'v been using the same one for over a year .
