If anyone is looking to buy a mini pro message me for pictures. I built one to the posted rules. But no where close to me to run it competitively. It's a fun little deal, but would sell to get someone going racing.. BigCHuck

Here is more exposure for lawnmower racing . Check out Gun it with Benny Spies on you tube. Find the episode marked mowing grass. I know there is a quick blip with him having no gear on, but watch on. It is in the last segment of the episode. About 7 minutes long. We, (my sons and i) had a true  to life blast with the guy. Hope you all enjoy. If i can figure out posting a link, I will. The autograph line isn't forming yet but i'm still hopeful :bash:

Its that time of year. We are working on the schedule for 2017. As always we are looking for more racers. We run 4 dirt ovals in central South Dakota.. And will have 17-18 races starting in May and ending in October. There are at least 4 of us on Hey Mow, so fire away with questions.  Our people on here include "boxcar" "outlaw#6", "chavez", and myself "bigchuck". Four classes of racing. Stock, modified, super mod, and outlaw.
Check us out on facebook (Crazyracers), or on the web @ pukwanamowerracing.com. Thanks BigCHUCK

I use a short strap that I get from the local tractor supply type store. Work great easy to pick up. Can get you a part number if you still need it. Chavez on here has seen what I use. had zero issues and they are fairly cheap

We ran 4 on 4 everything for a long time. But needing beadlocks now presented a challenge. Had a huge amount of trouble finding 4 on 4 bead locks. So called EC and got some of their hubs (4 on 4 AND 4 x 110). Love them. now with a small amount of work, we can use what ever set of rims we need for that nite. Not saying that switching back and forth is the answer, just making use of ALL the rim and tire combinations we have. My 2 cents

I agree with the upping air pressure. We have made some pretty drastic changes to minimize hop, and what has helped up the most is more air.  Some have had frame issues and had to make big changes there. But we have solved most of it (knock on wood),with lots of air then adjust for a bit loose. my 2 cents

Just want to give a thumbs up to Tyler Cromwell. Dealing with you was a pleasure. Thanks for the personal call to make sure of this sale. The item was exactly like you stated, price was good, and it arrived when you said ti would. So 1+ for you. Thanks

I'm with Nic, experience is the key. They (huffy and others) have been there figured that out. Smart money says send it to someone who knows..

Driveline / Re: right angle gear box cub cadet 2 to 1 ratio

depend on your gear ratio. we shoot for 7:1. But tracks vary in length, so exact ratio for your track needs to be known first. We have 17 tooth on box and 46 on axle

Just a shout out to fellow racers on HEY MOW. The best example of why we are all on this site.. helping other racers get started, get better, or solve problems. I had a real need for a denso starter. Put it up on the board for all to read. Soon I had a message. Fellow racer Gary Jackson from Millington Michigan gets a huge 1+ in my book. Thanks for the quick turn around, and the part was exactly what we talked about. This is why OUR sport is what it is.... Thanks for reading  CHUCK

Coffee Shop / Re: bad luck

Big subject... We all have been through some sort of funk called bad luck. Blown motors, wrecked mowers, bad finishes to name some things. But to learn from that and to get stronger because of it is the key. Lean on friends and fellow racers. That support will get anyone to the other side and start having fun again. Most of all, don't quit because of it. Just like an ill handling mower, put your spurs on and ride it out. Things will get better..  My 2 cents
