I was  turning 8000 all year on our clones and 8200 at some tracks. We have 3 built and havent lost a part yet.  Its a combination of stuff.  Research and see just where you want your power band,,  Cam, port work, Carb.

George we have an Atlanta internet radio station does ours at the track. Great group! They have all the equipment; put on a great show during the dead times.  Contact J-Mow  for more info, Hes got there number

we run a stock rod motor on one of our twins  7000 rpm 2 other twins at our track are stock with cams added and we all try to stay below 7000  one BP stock rod runs  6800 max  So I would think just stay below 7000 should be fine and we have a season on all these motors with no failures

Jim, I checked the website but all the info I could find was for the national race coming up. Any idea what time gates will be open on March 24th?
I just got off the phone with J mow. Him and Shane will be having a test day in 2 week's. They will post the info on the GA site they hope later today with full schedule  dates and times.

     Windy Hill Mower Speedway is ready for the regular season to open  March 24th.    They are also holding another USLMRA  National event April 28th  a double feature on that day.   

     The information can be found on Windyhills website  www.galawnmowerracing.com.... As well as there Face Book Page...  Glmra WindyHill Mower Speedway....  Also on the USLMRA  website

  Were running 2 Cps at Windy Hill Ga, also selected ARMA SOMA and USLMRA local and national races plus the BP and a pair of FXS Single Mods we just completed.  also building another CP.....  PLUS  things are always being built! so Add to the 5 mowers by mid season probably 7 by seasons end   

   We decided to run more for FUN this season after a full national tour last year

I am sure you could cut your own grooves in them like we used to do on my dirt latemodel. I bet the soft tire and cutting would hook up good !  How long they would last?  Theres another issue

Im with ya George, yall spend or do what ya want, i will just keep hooking up my small block vanny with factory heads and block, and have a whole lotta fun running past the 80hp plus machines that are spinning tires and braking drivetrain parts :)

the Ebays listing is no starter.... HF  has the starter included use the coupon 20% off when its onsale for $349 comes in less then 300 or 307 with shipping to your door if theres no store near you.
