Thanks for your reply.99% of the time they crack because the base plate is not flat,if the pan rocks at all it stresses the block when bolted down and wil eventualy crack the block,a sure sign of this is the pan bolts loosening up
Will look at increasing torsion strength of frame , and engine base plate .
Originally I thought engine block needed strengthening for extra hp
How much of a torque loading can the head bolts be tightened to ?260 in/lbs lubricated
Hi, just wondering if there are any other options available for valve retainers apart from the EC retainers that are out there.Comp cams Gp750=2 and Gp759-2,retainers and locks,should also use their Gp965 or Gp966 springs too.
To suit a 44 Intek twin. I'm also down in Oz.

Had no idea these blocks could be taken out that far, if at all. Is there enough meat?In order to go to 31ci bore(3.5625") youll have to sleeve the block.
