I am mounting it on the motor (lock collars sounds like a good idea Thanks). How did you attach your pully to the gearbox input (mine only has a hole in it to accept a roll pin)?

I am setting up my first mower using a Noram Star clutch on a vertical shaft engine to a RAGB. My question is do you put a spacer between the top of the clutch and the shoulder on the crank?   If yes, how tight?    Did you have a keyway cut on the RAGB input shaft?    Any other advice you could give on this setup would be greatly appreciated.         Thanks Dave

Has anyone ever tried to build/run a TVM 220 without the counter balancer?

Same as any other ratio calculations... RAGBratio/(F/B)x(A/D)
Are you asking about a right angle gear box vs. the 516 tranny...??? Most are set up with a 1:1 ratio thru the box... some have a 2:1 ratio... but none run a 9:1

Same as any other ratio calculations... RAGBratio/(F/B)x(A/D)

Randy could you break this down in idiot terms for me?  I am about to start building an F/X with a peerless RAGB 1:1, 12x8x6 rear cart tires. I have no idea what kind of final ratio you need to be competitive on the national circut? Any advice you could offer me would be greatly appreciated!        Dave

How wide are your wheels and what brand are they? Yea, George really knows his stuff, He built the motor on my S/P and still running strong after 2 1/2 years!

Very nice Tom!  It does not get any cheaper than that for an enclosed trailer.
