14hp Briggs on a murray
Post by 98ls1 on Oct 6, 2005, 3:13pm
I'm new to this site and to building lawnmower engines so I don't know all that much about it. Anyway I'm building my 14 horse murray riding mower to use at car shows to pull a cart, I have allready installed a custom 2 inch exhaust from front to rear, jr. dragster tires and wheels, new paint job is due this winter. I'm wanting to cam that motor to make it sound mean through the exhaust, do they make cams for it? If so, where can I get one and what all would I have to do to get it to work? I want a pretty radical lift cam to make it sound like a dragster. I build LS1 camaro's as a hobby and race so I thought an SS lawnmower to ride around a car show would be pretty cool, any help or tips would be greatly appreciated, thanks
Mike
