You don't shift during the race, so just use a lockout for high gear.

There should always be a rule about covers over any chain or belt.

Why does that link give me a hacker alert on my browser?

You got too many numbers.....
!0 degrees caster,  10 degrees camber.
10 pounds air in all the tires.
scale it with 25 pounds more on left front than the right front.
Then adjust your air from there.

Chassis / Re: Motorcycle brake disc on transaxle stub
« on: November 14, 2022, 12:46:17 am »
Use the disks on the axle. The reason being, if the chain inside breaks, you will have no brakes.
25 seems a little high, as most parades are barely a walking speed. I would try for 10 - 15 MPH in your gearing.
You can still go around a float, and put on a show.

Briggs OHV & Vanguard / Re: How far can a 35/38 Vanguard block be bored
« on: September 06, 2022, 09:45:11 pm »
Depending on how straight the bore and cast block is, 3.120 is an outer limit. If you have issues at 3.150, you may have to resleeve.
I would rather have a 2.99 piston to clean up the block, and be able to hone out to fix and issue, that to resleeve.
Just a thought.

Heymow is really a race oriented site, but I will give you something to check out.
Make sure your RPM's are 3650. Or whatever they list a HP @ RPM range.

Since the classes we race are 4 stroke based engines, no, no electric race motors.

Briggs OHV & Vanguard / Re: intek 44ci sump question.
« on: April 11, 2020, 05:35:02 pm »
Got the eBay sump today and it does have the larger oil pump. Georotor gears are twice the diameter of the original.  Wonder why the running change?

So the engines last longer.

Overdrive takes the torque out of the equation, or lessens it,
that keeps from putting too much stress on the gears and
breaking the tranny.

Carb is dirty if you have to run choke.
