Thats not a stroker.  Its a stocker that has the muffler taken off and needs a rebuild.  Look at the blue smoke, it's shot.  Far from a "real" racer.

Speed and horsepower aren't free.

Look at the one pic.  That top ring is almost out of the bore.  If it is a stroker it won't live long at high rpms.  And it smokes!

He hasn't done any other "real" mods to benefit from stroking the engine, that is why it is running.  Why go to all that trouble using stock parts?  Get the AVS rod and use the small piston, a way better upgrade than using that BIG HEAVY stock piston.

Put a cam in it and let it run up to 6000 for a few races.  Then I'll be impressed, untill then I stick with being a 28cid man.

if you used a 28 crank then you made a 28". i would take a 28, put the arc long rod and get the same result. or if you just want more compression then just deck the block and shave the head. again similar results. i did the later of the two, should have used an arc rod :bash:

Such a load of :censored:. I can't believe I wasted my dail up time looking at the video. If thats a stroker aggh never mind. If you want a 28 simply run one. What you are trying to do simply is a waste of time when the 28 is so plentiful to start with.

::censored::  :hmmm: :eyebrow: :dunno: :lala: :lol2: :lol2: :lmfao: :lol3:  :tard:

Thats what I got out of  video. You want to run a stroker run a Tec. Single Indian. Shorter stroke than a briggs and bigger bore. Brute force

Or build a stroker out of a 28!
Why waste your $$$.

Thats intreseting on the Tec.  Only problem is that there aren't many Tec's in this area.  All are OHV's.

Ouch, alright enough of the flaming.
This isn’t the place for something like this which is why I never mentioned it here.
This is NOT a racing tractor, it is not an ATLM and *I* NEVER said it was. It is just something to putt around the house on. I didn‘t build it for speed/racing; to that point it can run a whopping 12 MPH @ 3800 in top gear which is aprox 5mph faster than stock.   The idea for 2 plugs came from an add for mini bike  I seen a while back.   Yes it does smoke… shocking.   I didn’t use new rings when I put it back together and the compression is higher.   I refused to put new parts on it until it had some hours behind it; why put a set rings on an engine that may have detonated on its first start up?   I’ll be tearing the chassis down for paint and when I do you can rest assured the engine will have a new set of rings and will not smoke anymore.

The pic on the second page of the LMC thread is Sami’s build, someone there asked a question about the PVC so I used Squidd’s pic and a pic from Southern Monster Mowers for reference.  If it’s a prob I’ll gladly remove it.

Again…it’s not a race tractor, it was never meant to be and never will be.
