What are they running for engines?  Jr dragster stuff I presume.

Was kinda dissapointed in the speed of them.  Was expeting them to be way faster when I saw the 5 hp stuff and varible speed clutches.

Nope not neccesary just for looks. Heck' Nic ran with them at a race and won on his mower. There not as fast as one would think but different and I guess thats what they like. For the time and money I could build an v-twin.

Well let me tell you the down side to those outlaws, I tell them this at every single race, they are WAY TO HEAVY. The guy that built the green and black one showed me his weight ticket and it weighed 750lbs :woo: :omg: :noplease: :bash:

This is the track that George ran on when he came up to Canada. It was just after a rain and the track was really sticky. You had to fight the back wheels from passing the front as long as you were under power. This is my favourite type of race track, we can actually use the power and chassis set ups.

Those outlaw machines could be pretty quick if they would drop some weight. When I was a kid I ran built twin cyl snowmobile engines on my kart with 50lbs added I was 300lbs including driver. They were deadly fast.

It was just a good race track for me, that's what my machine was built for. Unfortunately we don't race on tracks like that all the time.

It sounded like a lot of them are two strokes-why would you build something that weighed 750 pounds ?

I'm not sure why they build them so heavy, I keep telling them to get them down around 400pounds and they would fly, 98% of them are snowmobile engines, one blockzilla, and one 250 motorcycle motor.

How does the blockzilla compare with the snowmobile engines?

In my opinion the RM 250 will outrun all of them if he gets his handleing better. The blockzilla was next till he blew two in 3-4 races. The snowmobile engines sound good and yes are fast one is 550 rotax, two are 440 rotax, and one is a 300 ?, oh and there is an built honda 13 h.p. but rarely races. I really beleive ya'lls outlaws and georges purple petro eater would run all over them. We will find out how they stand against one before long I will be building an Intek 40 c.i. we'll see.
