I think everyone knows who Ryan Kerr is by now.... Are you his spokesperson Ron? He doesn't even get to talk for himself anymore...!

I do wish the weather was still like that.. I'm freezing...

You need to here them up close.. if you have heard George Herrins mowchine... they sound quite similar.  I do think that Ryker Racing headers are equal length headers.. that are on all of the Outlaw mowchines in the video.... but I don't know if that changes the sound versus unequal length headers... you would have to ask an expert on that...

That was a great race....especially since it was the closest to racing in our hometown and it's the town where my pizzeria is! ;)

And  my driver won a heat race that day(the only one of the season I think!)

I was turning the engine to 7500+ there, if you check out the Woodstock video in the video section it was over 10,000 with more engine when I was qualifying.
It is a stock stroke vanguard, they are good crankshafts if you leave them alone. As soon as you stroke them they will break. The rod/stroke ratio is already pushed to the limit on the 35ci engines. They respond well to a bigger bore and the longest rod you can get in there.

I think the true vanny single 26 c.i. engine would be a great investment ,but it will be about the same as the Tec. single . It is a well built engine but is going to take some homework to find out what parts will do it and I beleive you will be surprised with the performance and the available parts once discovered.

That header really gives a neat sound... Each motor in there this year had a different sound using the same header...

i think your right Curtis...it's just the ports on the Tecumseh just take so much work! well, what would i do with my spare time anyway??  the Briggs 26" head looks very, very impressive to start with but, does anyone have issues with the gaskets? and where can i get a darn ROD???
