tsc huskee question?

I was wondering if ne one knew what type of transaxle i have and what can be done to it?

Not without model #S or pictures. now days these mowers come with a variety of transaxles!!!

Usualy all of the husky mower i have seen have the vari drive set up, but thats just an educated guess the best way to know is with pictures and or indetification numbers.

Looks like an 820 to me! What size are the axles? If they are 1" it's an 820, one of the best transaxles you can get.

Ok i Just found the tag under an inch of dirt and the axles are 1" and the tag calls it a


820 001a
peerless



so that is good? what can be done to it?

you can buy a 017 kit, convert to posi change out the grease and go racing. one of the best transaxles out there!

usually a free one or one you have is the best one. but if you want to buy parts that have been made for certain types by guys that have tried them already then i would go with an mtd. light weight frames, easy to reinforce and jackshafts and plates are production parts for them now.
