Is this a good tractor for pulling

 I would like to get into pulling but, dont know of any organizations in the CT area?

NOt sure if theres pulling in CT but i do know there is racing in CT. I see a mower in the back round that looks like it could be a racer  ;)

First off, What kind of mower is it? Next what kind of engine?

It's a 1987 Honda ht3813. The engine is an inline 2 cylinder liquid cooled, thats run through a driveshaft to a 5 speed transaxle.

These kind of mowers with a transaxle are not really wanted or needed for pulling. Also the engine wouldnt do that great either...

Really you need to find a old wheel horse or cubcadet that used a driveshaft.

What if i were to add a RAGB turned on its side, and put a centrifugal clutch on the side of the RAGB running down to a live axle?

Would this work?

Rick that wont work. clutch won't hold it. What you can do is us the bracket from a twisted belt drive belt setup and a four speed peerless cast iron axle. Check out my sons tractor. It is setup like I just explained. It works great, you just have to have a little fabrication skills. The tractor and engine will work. Just have to modify the drive train.
