Red rocker Cub at 900lbs
« on: May 24, 2008, 08:52:47 am »
Hey everyone here is my tractor in action. This is our 900lb stock altered class. For those of you that know cub axles this is in a 23 tooth second gear. This is the oppo twin I built with the crank trigger ign, billet steel flywheel, insert bearing rods, a ton of block work and most importantly one of DON G's cams. Dons cam is a serious improvement over stock. I know from experience how it can make an oppo run. It can only get better in time.

Dennis
Oh I one the class as well. ;)

I think it's very cool!

Nice run, very smooth and it looks like you had more in reserve.

Bountyhunter currently it is running at 5500-5600 in high gear and 5800+ in second gear loaded down the track. The cam Don built for me is capable of 5800 and making power there. I believe its the cam he has sold everyone. Here is a comparison versus my stock opposed last year. This year I am 2mph faster in high gear at the same wieght class than I was last year. And the engine is 1000rpm faster then last year. You don't have to buzz em high just gear for the torque because it will make gobs of it thru the entire rpm range up to 5800-5900.
