Going Electric
« on: December 09, 2020, 05:32:37 pm »
Getting oil on my plug and now motor wont start so after taking it apart the gasket seems ok so wondering if the piston ring(s) are bad and oil is getting through up to the plug? This led me to decide I might just go electric, dump the briggs and stratton and put in some batteries and a DC transaxle in the back.

Since you guys race has anyone done an electric build? I am currently sourcing a 24VDC transaxle and a controller and curious if anyone' done anything similar?

Since the classes we race are 4 stroke based engines, no, no electric race motors.
