104 octane boost probly got everything set up for him to race there. Even that video, you can clearly tell is to promote 104.
If I remember what I heard correctly, he ran with a group of motorcycles who had the salt flats for the day.
But I agree with George, it isn't a record if no one can challenge it. I think anyone with a decent BP and some big balls could beat his record.
