WHAT YEAR???
« on: April 11, 2007, 11:26:46 pm »
Is there a way to find out what year my mower is, by looking at the model, type, and code.
Or does anyone know about what year my mowers ares? They are a Craftsmans with a Kohler magnum 18
apposed twin. By the way the mower is grey and has an electronic push/pull knob to engadge
the mower blades. The mowers were only 10 bucks :woo: and i couldnt pass up that offer, but unfortunatlythey both have hydrostatic, should i invest in two trannys or only use the motors and frame for parts?Sorry i forgot to mention there is two, almost identical. :omg:

Andrew

that all depends on your selling skills, when i listed my hydro on ebay, i only put the starting bid at 100 dollars, and it was about that till 10 minutes left, where it shot to 250.00!!, and that easily bought me 2 P700's. so it all depends on what you can do

The Kohler 18hp Magnum is an amazing motor its got a load of power and torque. From the factory the opposed twin magnum 18 has just a little less torque than the Kohler Comand 18 V-Twin. Its so where around 32.8 ft.lbs.
