Billet dogbone no longer available ?
« on: March 21, 2023, 09:29:06 am »
Spoke with ARC Racing, they said they haven't produced the billet dog bone for a few years. Guessing not many people messing with this setup anymore. I'm considering  making one out of a piece of billet, or possibly even steel. This is on a factory stock 28, so not gonna see real high rpm. Will using steel have any major effect on the balance with such a small part?

It shouldn't. I would be concerned about the connecting rod, and the flywheel. Steel would defiantly be stronger!
