Timing For Stock 12 hp Briggs Flathead

Can someone tell me how much timing I should set a 12 hp flathead on for a stock class?

Are you running a billet flywheel?, if so that will set it at 27-28 degrees , unless things have changed you don?t want to go more than 30 or you risk breaking the timing gear on the crank, I myself still run on full negitive on my billet flywheel; Moved up one notch and did not noticed a difference, hope this helps

No, need timing for stock 12 hp Briggs flathead. Stock class but can run any timing.
