No sure how to set up the front axle/spindles
« on: December 31, 2017, 08:35:24 pm »
Hey, so I'm working on building a racing mower, and right now I'm not sure what to do for the front axle, I want to do direct steering, but I have no way of welding go kart spindles to the frame, and I really need help from you guys on what I should do. I still have the stock spindles and the bar that they go in that pivots in the front.

Don't use the stock parts. Weld the go kart spindles to a piece of 1x2 tubing. Weld the tubing into the chassis.

What thickness of 1x2 tubing do most peoole use for their front axle? 0.120"
