Predator OHV Motor {Harbor Freight }

For clearance purposes, i need to remove the motor mounted fuel tank on a Predator engine. Can I tap into the intake for pulse and use a fuel pump like the Briggs do? I will be useing a larger tank, and it will be mounted where I can.t use gravity feed.
