Engine help needed

Put a stock 12 briggs and stratton  on my frame what do you do to set it up for race any settings or changes to the engine

Depends if your racing a stock class or a modified class. 

What class are you planning on running?

Where I race stock means leave it stock.   Anything else would be cheating.

We have people removing governors and air filters and exhaust does that realy give that big of advantages

YOU REALLY NEED TO TALK TO TRACK TECH. SOME CLUBS ALLOW THOSE MODS BUT SOME DON'T!
