Take ear plugs.  You will have the time of your life!  You will feel horsepower like you never have.  It will pound all the way through your body.  Hopefully you have pit passes too.  You can get up close and personal with almost all the drivers.

That is one of the best tracks anywhere,if you have a ticket you don't need a pit pass, you can go anywhere.I have raced there but not for a few years.

I go to Topeka when my schedule allows.   It is awesome.

Take comfortable shoes, there is a lot of walking.

Remember sunscreen.  Not much shade at a drag strip.

Watch some of the street car classes.  They will give you an idea of how fast the Nitro cars really are.

GO TO THE PITS and watch the crews are working on the nitro cars.   Don't try to get near any of the Force cars, go to the no name driver.   You will be able to get right up to the car and they do the exact same thing the big name guys do.   Stand close when they test fire the car and set the clutch.

It is awesome.   You will go again.

My thoughts were to get real good walking shoes! The sunscreen makes a lot of sense. Our thought about Norwalk was it wasn't one of the HUGE events and we could enjoy the experience more. My wife doesn't care for the Force's so that's one we will be walking past! Some of the smaller teams make sense to watch!

I am done with Force.  Tim Wilkerson is the best!  He owns his own car, crew chiefs his car & drives it.  I have tons of respect for a man like that.

He was one of the real nice people to talk to! Beckman was also easy and fun to be around! Erica Enders, Greg Anderson, and Allen Johnson was real good to talk to. The Kalitta's was a little standoffish but they were busy! Hector Arana was very personal, always would talk to ya. Tony Schumacher took time to sign a football and make a pass to the kid when he was suppose to be getting ready to run, that's what a person does that appreciates kids and his fans!
