Carburetor return spring help?
« on: February 12, 2015, 04:28:45 pm »
I have a Mikuni carburetor off of a Honda four wheeler. It has the cable going right in on top. No place to add a return spring. I like to make sure it passes ULMRA tech inspection.

Use a return spring on your throttle petal.   Or use a bell crank and add a spring to that.

So this is legal to use with USLMRA?
Thanks for the picture.  That clears things up.

Yes and that is pain in the behind to run Paul IV tryed it and sticks. I just put a smaller spring in the spring that's already in the carborater and rich web with mainy both approved it.
The problem is its not just return spring your going to run in. Its jets for example I have 30 jets cause my Keihin was on 2 stroke carb off a Honda 350 pilot So you just have to play with it like I did.
