Hi

I am french and excuse me for my very bad english but i hope you understand me ;)
I am 54 old,maried with 2 children. I work for Air France where i repair B747 and B777

I dont build lawnmover outlaw but a single seat plane powered by a B&S v twin 23hp.
I am looking for a new ignition unit for my engine because i dont want keep the flywheel too heavy.
In this forum i think find ideas and help for my project.

Am i the only one who finds it ironic that a guy from France has a username consisting of standard measurements? Shouldnt your name be something like 10mm-11mm? :lol:

I use all days american wrenches.It's not a problem for me.I speak also in Lbs,feet ,USG....

I would use an electronic ignition setup like this one from Midwest Super Cub. It is for a Kohler, but could be easily adapted to a Vanguard.

You could use a crank trigger and a box from MSD,we used one on a Rotax 250 on a shifter cart,a 250 is two cylinders too
