Back in Black
« on: May 29, 2014, 08:52:48 am »
Hey Folks!

I've been pretty absent for a bit, and I've received alot of messages so I thought I'd post.

Long story short, I don't work as hard or run as hard as I used to...life's short enough and the fact is I was running myself into a quicker grave.

For those of you that did "business" with me: I no longer do any outside work. Mower racing is my hobby and selling parts, building engines, machine work etc makes a hobby a headache!

But I'm back on Heymow, have a new/old CP build going. (new as in when its finished it'll be new, old as in I started on it 2 years ago!

Look forward to sharing part of my day on the best Mower racing forum there ever has been or ever will be!

And last but not least, you'll notice that I said I don't work as hard as I used to...which means my paychecks are about half of what they used to be! SO guys.....no I don't want to buy any parts!! LOL

I also moved to the "farm"...got out of town onto 22 acres and you'll never guess what kinda critters I'm raising.....CHICKENS!!!!

Look for "Rooster Eggs" in a store near you soon  :woo:

I know what you mean about mixing your hobby with business, I too question many times wth I am doing working 50 +hour week at my normal job then work into the wee hours of the morning at St Croix Chassis.
I love mower racing and I love helping other racers but it does get to be a bit too much! I look forward to one day being just a mower racer again! :)

Glad to see your sticking with mower racing though!

Maybe run into you at nationals somewhere someday.

So, a guy goes on an extended hiatus, returns and all he wants to talk about is his lack of follicular fortitude and his feelings.
Rooster, you need to get out and blow something up. Then hit something with a hammer. Real hard. Then cuss profusely. That will help get your man back.
Your welcome, the still ever helpful,
Ed

OK, Rooster, you're not selling parts, but could I trouble you for a dozen or two of extra large grade A's?

That's just a yoke....

Last weekend I blew up 3 trannys, hit my finger with a hammer..which led to your next suggestion...and I did ity all wearing pink Man Panties...because I like it like that!  8)

NEVER, EVER doubt MY manhood....you pinto chasing, cheese luvin, teeter totter building Snow Pansy.  :P
A real man doesn't need rocker arms to make power....

but thanks for the inspiration  :D

Your facts are incorrect.
Bert is the Pinto chaser.
I have a big block.
You wouldnt last 15 minutes in a Wisconsin winter.
Rocker arms confuse you do to multiplication of valve lift. Roosters hate math.
I believe you did blow up 3 trannys. I hope it was not in an alley. :D
A real man doesn't need rocker arms to make power? That could explain why you dont make any.
Your previous post was much better than the wishy-washy crap you started out with. Carry on!

Bert

PS: Rooster, you'd freeze your ergs off in one of our winters. I know 'cause I lost mine 3 years ago.
