anyone know the parts tree # for a 49 briggs vtwin & also on parts tree when you select a part/number example 26 does everything in that box around that number come with it or do i have to buy each individual part like a piston is 26 and it will have 24 25 22 in the box with it do those come with the piston or do i have to order them seperatly.

I know it's just an example, but if you were, for example, to purchase a Model 31 intake manifold, there's a box around the manifold, gaskets and misc hardware...all that will come with the manifold. If there is no big box around, say, a crankshaft, just a small number with a box around it, that would then be a standalone part, and there would be no accessories with that.

If I am understanding you correctly, you are asking if any of the 49 blocks came in the "cool bore" variety?  I doubt it.  But all the blocks are cast aluminum for the 49.

That is why, as you attend races, look around at what others are running.  Record the engine numbers, and hope they're right.  Otherwise, you are just taking a shot in the dark with what you are paying good money for.

All the 49 blocks are the same. Regardless if there is more than one part number it should be same bore. All of the 44 parts will fit except the pistons. While you are at it just send me the 44 block. Lol
