I personally wanna run an oppy on my racer but i've heard, sincethey have so much torque, that around turns they tend to spin out. Is that true?
We chased that oppie all summer in ARMA and I will bet it will surprise some folks at the All American. The just showing up comment is very rude considering its easy to sit at your computer and put someone down that way. Get on track at National events and numbers will be up and your comment will mean more.
I have seen a onan twin oppose run with and out run built to the hilt 60CID OHV twins. Don't know what was in those onans but they would run. I am thinkIng they were stock bottom end with head and carb work with a good cam. Don't recall of they were bored bigger or not.
The best bang for your buck is have carb done by George@EC.
No. Since the opposed is a bit heavier, it tends to make the rear end loose. You will need to play with spindle height, tire pressure, camber, etc. for proper balancing.
