honing tool

Where can i get a good honeing tool for my intek vtwin could i use the standard automotive hone. Also where can i get custom flat top pistons to fit my vtwin that are not $250 each???

Sears carries a small engine hone and arc racing carries bunch of piston options

I use a Sunnen precision hone for automotive,they are expensive but they make the cylinders straight and round not just break the glaze like the cheap spring loaded hones.With coarse stones you can make the cylinder larger for an oversize piston fairly quickly,but it takes a powerful drill to run it,the slower the rpm the better.

I have bought tools and supplies from Goodson.They have the hone AN-112,$464.79.They also have the junior hone JN-95,range 2.0-2.6

I have both also. Kinda pricey but they work good. Shopping there is easy, but just be careful on the prices, sometimes going to the manufacture can be better.
