has anybody ever used a tricycle front end? just curious. i'm really thinking of getting into this. older cub direct drive is the perfered choice? thanks bob

Trike is a dumb idea for the sake of stability. And yes, older cub frame and tranny, but whatever sheet metal ya want.

The club I used to pull with had a few tractors with a tricycle front end and never had a problem with them its no different than a full size tractor pulling in a bigger class.. atleast in the last 15 years of pulling and watching pulls I havr never seen a tricycle tractor have a single issue... I guess it just boils down to opinion and comfort with the idea of it
