« on: July 07, 2013, 04:48:34 pm »
I am stuck on how to strengthen this chassis. this is for a fxt and the c channel runs outward instead of inward. kinad like this ]===[
= is the space between c channel. [ is channel. How would i run 3/4" square through this chassis if if the c channel is on the out side? The two halfs are Not removable either.

Run 16 gauge sheet metal down the length of the c channel to make a box out of the c channel.

Not a rule. Just how I've done it in the past.  You can run the tubing on the  inside if you want that would make tying the trans plate to the frame easier.
