Century welder
« on: April 06, 2013, 03:15:58 pm »
I just picked up a older Century quick fix 110 welder. The guy thought it was a Lincoln 100, but I guess not....

Here is the specs:

Model #117-034
Serial #071-845
input - 120 vac 60hz
10 - 18
output - 75 adc
arkvolts - 18
cycle - 20%

It has a switch that goes from low-off-high with a dial for wire speed
I know nothing about these welders. Just need to know if this thing will do the trick in building my racer or should I take it back. I paid a 100 bucks for it. DID I OVER PAY!!!

Thanks, boxcar (aka Don)

thats what i used on mine. welded my gears for posi and everything. i had it on high and it burned in nicely. have to do a little grinding but not as much as if i used a gas welder. awesome price too. wish i could find a good deal like that.
