Tractor supply has a huge selection of belts you can pick right off the shelf so you don't need to wait for a warehouse picker to find what you want, just to have it be the wrong one and go back and find another.

I've had better luck with those green belts than the standard black ones. I heard there are red belts made by Dayco that are even better, but have not seen them myself.

Tractor supply has a pretty good selection and a measurment tool as well.I think they sell the Husky brand which a blue belt.I have been using them and they seem to hold up fine.Anywhere from 13 to 20 bucks will get you what you need.

I always get the green ones because I can usually get them for free. The local lawnmower racer/repair guy has  BUNCH of the red ones though.

I have seen the red ones, green ones, and blue ones. To be honest I don't know if one is better than another because they all share the same thing. They are Kevlar Cord belts. They are not supposed to stretch as much and supposed to be more durable.

Here is a insert I read earlier on them:
Martin Racing Performance, Inc :: Kevlar Belts

Made from the same material as bullet proof vests, this belt will eliminate slip as well as increase durability. As your stock belt wears down, it get thinner and thinner. This, in turn, will start to decrease your top speed. A Kevlar belt will keep this from happening.

So I take it that not only will you have less slippage and longer life but it's a good belt to have on if your riding your mower through a tough neighborhood?  :lol2:

Rotary red are what the red belts are called and I think thats the company name also .
I have used the green belts for the last two years and have had no problems with them , The biggest thing that i have figured out with them is that they have to be aligned PERFECT and not to tight . I know you don't want the belt to slip but if you have it to tight it first off wears the belts out prematurely and it puts mower drag on the drivetrain

I usually just pick my belts up at TSC.  I think it stands for tractor supply something.
