2 different carbs
« on: May 15, 2012, 06:32:49 pm »
Hey guys I've got a question. I'm working on a family members 25 tomorrow and it has a carb completely different than the 3 other 25s I have. It's kinda square bodied(looks plastic) and the inlet from the filter is on the end and bolted on through the opposite side at the outlet of the carb body where the elbow to the block is at. All of mine look like cast aluminum(?) and are round and air inlet comes in from the top. Is the square plastic one a newer style? Better or worse? This one only has 1 fuel adjustment as compared to 2. Any insight is appreciated. The type and code numbers are worn off of his so I don't know when it was made.
