Hello, again.
« on: January 28, 2012, 09:20:37 am »
Been away from the sport since 2007... Always thinking about getting back involved with mower racing. Miss the people. The sport had  introduced new friends and "family". Sport really made me feel good. Wasn't a good racer at all, enjoy building and helping more then actual driving.

Been playing with cars since I sold my BP to MTV...The hot rods and such I have built over the past couple years have helped keep me busy but always think back to the "mower" days.

I kinda just disappeared from the sport, lost contact with many friends, and feel bad for doing so...my apoligies. :(

Lots of things been hapening in my life over the past few years that have helped open my eyes to what is really important.

So, just openly thinking about returning to the sport that many people had helped me to get started in.

Guess it all depends on how you feel. If you really and truly feel compelled to rekindle your interest then go for it. On an unrelated note- and this is something I've been curious about- How are moderators made... moderators? I'm just curious.

Not sure how things work now with USLMRA and licensing. While I did run BP before, I have been away for 3 race seasons.  BP is what I desire to race. Will have to make a few calls and see what needs to be done (if anything ) before I  go ahead and start building to deeply into a BP.

Count me in for the 3rd!!...Thanks for the offer on the INTEK...but will pass ....But I am looking for a rolling mower chassis (not race ready..I'll take care of that)..Been hunting around Ebay and Craigslist..not much catching the eye! Got my eye on my personal lawn tractor..but the wife may get a tad bit upset with that!
