#150 Sp Video
« on: December 12, 2006, 09:30:33 am »
Here is a short vid of my SP doing some exhabition laps at Carson during our 4th of July races.  It is only a exhabition so I'm not "on it"  just putting on a show for the crowd.  The second vid is some old school racers that we use to race.  Mine is the yellow cub and my buddy is on the deere (it was stolen a year ago).  Those are our first builds I think from 3 yrs ago and are running stock motors.
Enjoy
Paul

Thanks,
I just got hi-speed last week and I am able to do all the cool things on the internet.  Our dial up was only 18K so it was super slow.  Now I can pull 1 MG, big difference.  I'll be able to share my pics and vids with the rest of you.

No that is all I got for now.  The cub was the first racer I ever built and I cut up the body pretty bad.  Looking back I wish I'd never done that.  It looks like crap and I can't race it USLMRA.  But it is a light mower and I could make it very cool.........only if I could find another body................anyway I've built 3 more after that one each one a bit better and faster, I think I figured it out the red craftsman is my latest and it flat out flys!

Corey,
I assume you mean the SP.  It is a 28 briggs, g force cam, g force carb, my porting, 11 hp head, small piston, ARC rod, ARC synchro weights, ARC wheel....think that is all.   It runs awesome, I was going to go to a 31 this year, but that 28 runs so good I'm going to run it again.  Also front brakes may be in my future!
If you mean the Cub, it is a stock 28 briggs.  (It is actualy the one that I built for the SP) That is what we run in our local group, to keep it cheep.  WE don't allow any engine mods.  But we are finding it hard to find palces to race with out insurance.  So we are getting into the USLMRA and trying to make a go of that.

where are you from?
I had a buddy that had a deere just like that and got it stolen about a year ago, along with two two other racers, and a trailer.
Oh come on man. You got no lady fingers, fuzz buttles, snicker bombs, church burners, finger blasters, gut busters, zippity do das, or crap flappers?
No, I don't.
You're gonna stand there, owning a fireworks stand, and tell me you don't have no whistling bungholes, no spleen spliters, whisker biscuits, honkey lighters, hoosker doos, hoosker donts, cherry bombs, nipsy daisers, with or without the scooter stick, or one single whistling kitty chaser?

It is a belt drive to a 700 peerless.  Chain drive from 700 to cart rear end.  Set up very simmilar to George H's BP build in the build section.  In that vid I can't remember the gearing.  It changes all the time and that was an exhabition so I just left what gears I had in it.   I run a 6" on the engine and a 4" on the tranny.  and anywhere from a 9 tooth to a 20 tooth on the tranny and a 40 to a 55 on the axle.  Just depends on the track.
