front axle

I'll have to say Darrin's axles are a very nice looking piece. I had the same concern but after I got to checking around lots of people are running his axle with no major problems.

used set of cart spindles with bearings or a bmi weld up kit 4 1/2 inch heims and some steel plate you have yourself an axle... heck you can even make your endplates like the ones ec sells... its alot easier to buy them but im cheap and dont have much elses to do lol

The front axles and axles from Grasscar are good, there is no dispute there.
Darren builds good stuff! Tha thing to conside is can you home build something
with all of the adjustment set up right and all the design right?

If you are not confident in the piece you built, I would not run it.
The front axle is NOT oe of those places to test your welding and design abilities, lol!

I have that axle on my s/p well worth the money it has held up good even after a few jumps over the tires and hay bales

i build my own and its very strong and i used for a cross bar 2 1" pieces of square tubing
