Volumes of Information
« on: March 01, 2011, 10:46:11 am »
From time to time life demands pull me away from this site.
When I get back, so much has gone on I spend hours trying to catch up.
Some topics such as rev limiter and low cost tach interface and the like
are complex enough that,  I have to go back and read the whole thing to try to keep up.
It's a shame that we don't had some type of synopsis, or some way to
get the meat of a subject without having to read the whole log of comments.
Just the rambelings of an old man.
What do you all think?

You mean look at a topic and read the answer if there is one or read about the success or failure of something tried? Do all this without all the comedic responces and off-topic answers to tell a friend hi, see you at the next race?

Where's the fun in that ??

Maybe,  use the the search line at the top?
Do what you can, with what you've got, where you're at.

Like if twenty people answer one question, make a button that people can vote on the best answer so after the thread has run its course and you open it, the best answer shows up first?  It wouldn't work for all threads but the general questions it would be great.

Yeah but... what are we going to do with all the threads where a problem is presented...a dozen possible causes/answers are given...

And then the original poster never comes back to tell us which answer worked..!!!
