Opposed Twin Oil Mods
« on: January 11, 2011, 06:27:23 am »
Have had several guys ask about this lately, so I decided to post some pics of how I modify Opposed twins for better oiling.

The first thing I do is the crank. I remove material above the crank pins. Later you will see, with the rod on there it creates a sort of "shelf" . The slung oil comes down and gets into the rod here.

OK, fine...that's what was under the rags.
So there you go.
Now if you do this to your crank without what I do to it afterwards.....good luck keeping that engine together!
Don't bother asking what I do afterwards, i ain't telling!
