My weekend was awesome.  It was my first time going to Ohio.  Just for the experience it was worth the 600 miles.  When I went to Ohio I did not set my expectations vary high since this was my first national year.  Going into the BIG race Saturday night my nerves were going haywire since it was the biggest race I have ever participated in.  I ended up getting 4th in that race!  Then Sunday I was more relaxed because points were not on the line.  When I qualified 4th for the Open I was pretty excited.  By the end of the race I worked up to 2nd.

I was not a bad weekend for a young kid from WI.  Ended up overall for the weekend with 4th in the Finals, 2nd in the Open, 5th in Points, and Rookie of the Year.

I would like to say a big thanks to Al Meinker(Lawn Monkey)  for towing my mower down to the event so I was able to participate in the Ohio experience.  Not only him but also Paul, Tommy, Charles, Rooster, Shannon, and anyone else that has helped me out this year.

I went into the weekend with hopes of a championship. I was tied with Pete Sullivan with 2400 points. I drew 19 and to my luck Pete drew 11.....On the first caution I forgot to press the clutch when shifting and did some damage to one of my shift keys. Thru the next 8 cautions we had they all let go. So I didnt finish. The open I just couldnt get with the track bad qualifying ended up 7th. For me nationals this year started out as main focus on the championship and ended with a lot more. Meeting new people hanging with old friends. Im not going to name everyone cause im certian to miss someone but you all know who you are. WOO was AMAZING we are hoping to go to their end of the year race first weekend in October. One thing I am ready for this year to wind down I raced in 6 National events this year from Minnesota, Illinios, Michigan, Tennessee, and Maryland. We are hoping to make it to florida one of these years and maybe someday I will make every US race in one year. All I have to say is watch out OHV the Opposed is going to be even stronger next year.

What ever anyone tells you I did they are LYING, I didn't do it. Except Nicole, she's telling the truth, but don't tell Monkey, if he asks she is lying too!
