John Deere Pulley System!! need ASAP!!

i just got a belt for my john deere lawn mower and have not a clue of how to runn it threw the the pulley system and me and my friend are wanting to go wheeling today and we doont know how to do it. any ideas of how to do it does anyone know?

The v sets in the v pulley and the flat rides on the flat idler. Did ya pay attention to how the old one come off? Try that cuz chances are Deere had it right from the factory. Flip through the builds section. There are thousands of pics in there

Not all John Deere belts route the same way. The model number of the mower would be a big help.

Go to John Deere.com , Take your modle number key it in the parts section. The pictorials/parts diagrams show how the belts ride. You will have to take some things off to change the belts(Levers, brackets ect)

Yes, many of them are routed differently.
