What a week! Madeit back about 3 this morning. Had a great visit with Mike and Ron at Precision, at a lot of seafood, enjoyed the chat with William English at Ellerbe, walked the track and talked racing. Stared wided-eyed from Mount Pilot North Carolina and didn't blink until Charlestown West Virginia. First time my wife or I had ever driven under a mountain. In Northern Indiana, we're excited when we drive under a train overpass.

Ok, southern friends, what's the deal with boiled peanuts? They were everywhere! We didn't try any. Is this a regional thing?

Its not a Texas Thing I can tell you that much.
Race for the little girl in the stands that you used to be!
The one that cheered for every racer no matter who they were!
The one that said Daddy, I can't wait to be on the track like them?

You come on up to some of our BSMRA races.. We will set you up with some fresh cheese curds. And some beer and probably a few other things that you wish you never learned. Just ask George!
Check out our schedule at our site (link is in my sig), talk to Bert and come on up!

I do know there is a ARMA national points race in Crown Point, In. We are trying to get most of the Wi. guys to come to that one.

Most of the bad stuff in Wisconsin happens when Hollywood and George are sitting together in the bar. Come to think of it, sitting in any bar with Hollywood can produce bad stuff.  And George, curds are considered a health food around here, just like any other food that can be deep-fried.

Bert
Gary Busey and Rick James both used to live in my shop. Redline stole them.

Amen on the health food. And Hollywood, OMG words cannot describe... Its one of those things you simply have to witness to get the full effect.

Sounds like a plan. If I come up, will leave on a Thursday night, chase some muskies Friday day; develop a gameplan over some of Milwaukies finest Friday night, exchange a few lies and deep fried foods, race on Saturday, Recover on the ride home Sunday. Crown Point's about two hours from my house, which, after the drive back from Myrtle Beach, is nothing. Really, I feel good where we're at. An 8 hour drive will get us to Tennessee, all of Illinois, ohio, Kentucky and well into Wisconsin. Michigan's only 1.5 hours, so that's really in our back yard. I'm up all regional cuisine!
