1 1/4 sprocket hub bolt pattern
« on: January 20, 2010, 11:21:25 pm »
i bought a barely used 1 1/4 sprocket hub and sprocket off a cart racer for 20 bucks.  it has a 63tooth sprocket for #35 chain.  question is if i buy a 42-48 tooth #40 chain sprocket, will it bolt up to the hub i already have?  there are 6 allen bolts that hold sprocket to hub if it helps.  thanx

most sprocket hubs are 6 bolts with a 5 1/4'' pattern, measure from the center of the hub to the center of a bolt hole, if it mesures 2 5/8'' you have a common hub.... ;)

Don't forget the 4 9/16" register.

You are right on the bolt pattern, the register is the inner lip.
