BP build--6" front rims with 8X8"rear rims
6" front rims with 13X6.50X6 tires
8" rear rims  with 16X7.5X8  tires
20 HP, V-Twin
700 peerless
8" Motor pulley
5" Tranny pully
Tranny sprocket---12 tooth
Axle sprocket------46 tooth
Racing in 3rd gear
Dirt Track

Thank you, Guys
Mike

Okay.....I have the basics from which to begin, now help me with these two scenerios if you would:

1) I find that I need more torque, what in this setup would need to be changed?

2) I find that I need more topend, what in this setup would need to be changed?

ok  math time

well lets get an example goin say ur motor revs at 5000 rpm full tilt no higher while under load racing and ur runnin 8-5 pulleys

so thats 5000 rpm at the 8'' pulley now the ratio btw pulleys (8/5=1.6)so now u have an 8'' pulley spinning at 5000 rpm and a smaller 5'' pulley spining 1.6 times faster than the bigger one (5000x1.6=8000) rear pulley spins at 8000 rpm    holy crap lmao
